If you ever have the occasion to be bitten by any dog, and can see the dog coming, the best thing you can do is feed it your forearm and do not try to pull away. The dog will generally grab the first thing it can sink it’s teeth into.
It will hurt like hell, but if you can, use your other hand to grab the throat , squeeze the wind pipe and choke the dog off. And for those of you who think I am full of shit, I was a sentry dog handler in Viet Nam I have had the occasion to break up many dogfights, and pull a dog off of an attack.
