Long ago my wife experimented by pureeing the anchovy with the other Caesar dressing ingredients. Delicious!

Since then, to us, a Caesar Salad isn't a Caesar Salad without anchovy in the dressing.

You can just buy the anchovie paste, I prefer the whole anchovies, but when making a Caesar for others, I use the paste.
