May 1, 2021???
Except where required to go into stores to buy essentials, I have not worn a mask anywhere.
I shake my head in disbelief at people seated at outdoor restaurant tables next to sidewalks. All the sidewalk walkers are masked up, but all the people at tables are not masked. I shake my head at people who will go ten feet into the street to avoid passing by me on the sidewalk. I laugh at the people who will mask up to enter a restaurant, then take it off two seconds later when seated at a table. I’m in hysterics when I see solo walkers on our street, nobody else within a half mile, wearing masks. Or people alone in their cars all masked up.
The extreme lack of common sense is so disheartening. No wonder the nation elects Democrats.
“The vaccine didn’t work” — please explain that.
The proposal would keep the rules in place until they are “no longer necessary to address the effects of the pandemic in the workplace.”
Just how many people over the age of 80 were still working and died?
Statically: none
This is madness

A very wise observation.

Bend is a great little town...I could move there...but it is Oregon
The senile old bastid still thinks he's Rocky II.
He be gone soon.
That's Joe's Chinese name, " Gon Tsoon." They are in a rush, did you notice?
Often, men who fight in wars, when asked about being in such a dangerous environment, will say they never felt more alive. I think I’m starting to see this among the Karens; some will retell with gusto the worst early days of the pandemic - when people were dying by the thousands, doctors and nurses were dying, everyone was afraid.
I think, for some, this is the closest they will ever come to a “combat” situation, and as the actual danger wains, they are actually NOSTALGIC for the lockdowns, the fear, the sense that THEY WERE DOING THEIR PART by masking, sanitizing and social distancing.
Also, when government basically takes your life away - tells you to stay home and do nothing - it becomes an escape from any unpleasantness in your life; some people may be reluctant to return to “normal” and the actual responsibilities they’ve been allowed to ignore for months.
A few weeks ago, when I was in Walmart, I passed a woman who was sporting a Louis Vuitton face diaper. I kid you not.
She seemed very proud of herself. I was secretly laughing at her. What kind of moron would pay that kind of money for a mask? What kind of moron considers face diapers a “fashion statement”?
The funniest thing is that, in my area, most people no longer wear masks. I don’t believe that others were too impressed with her “designer accessory”.
Good observations, LizzieD
If you have been wearing a mask that you know damned well is totally useless, take it off for good on May 1st.
Even better, get a bunch of friends together and hold a great unmasking right in the middle of your local Walmart.
MY EMAIL TO GEORGIA GOVERNOR KEMP RE. COVID HOAX
Governor Kemp,
Inasmuch as you, unlike some other governors, have restored many of our too easily and foolishly abandoned freedoms due to the COVID HOAX, you may find this 5 minute testimony by an expert in the field helpful in vindicating your previous actions and move you to take the necessary next steps to get us back to the OLD CONSTITUTIONAL NORMAL.

PERHAPS AN EMAIL TO YOUR GOVERNOR IS IN ORDER?
I have to selfishly admit I really enjoyed the empty roads, parks, and beaches! I never paid any attention to that “stay home, shelter in place” crap. I had entire huge county parks to myself for a while — it just required street parking some distance away and hoofing it to the park, but I was there to hike anyway.
I have regularly traveled between Orange County, CA and San Diego throughout, and I REALLY miss the empty freeways...I was making it in an hour and a half easy, and now it’s edging up to two, two and a half hours...pretty much like it was BEFORE Covid, unfortunately.
I drive from the San Francisco peninsula over to Concord (East Bay) to help my daughter improve the house she bought. It was an hour flat a couple months ago with very light traffic. Now the traffic headed north on 680 is at the normal stop-and-go 5 mph or so. Ugh.
Patronized a Utah Red Lobster restaurant with the mask on my chin. The greeter asked me to please put it over my nose, and I gave him THE LOOK. He said, "I understand, but it is company policy." Twenty feet further on we sat down - with no masks, just like the other patrons. Utah lifted the mask requirement April 10. My boy up there says stores are still requiring it, so I expect the same procedure this coming Monday.
It is a mask of obedience to the democrats.
Stanford study quietly published at NIH.gov proves face masks are absolutely worthless against Covid

FTA: According to the current knowledge, the virus SARS-CoV-2 has a diameter of 60 nm to 140 nm [nanometers (billionth of a meter)] [16], [17], while medical and non-medical facemasks’ thread diameter ranges from 55 µm to 440 µm [micrometers (one millionth of a meter), which is more than 1000 times larger [25]. Due to the difference in sizes between SARS-CoV-2 diameter and facemasks thread diameter (the virus is 1000 times smaller), SARS-CoV-2 can easily pass through any facemask
Illinois resident here and I haven’t worn one yet. The only place that has refused me service is, Pekin, Illinois hospital blood lab.
