We need to re-imagine behavior, not policing

Obama recently said that we need to “re-imagine policing.” Without getting into whatever he meant by that, re-imagining policing would be a waste of time, effort, and money, which is always a major part of any Democrat “solution.” Why? Because what we need, instead, is to re-imagine behavior, especially in certain cultures.

The left constantly preaches victimhood. If a person falls into a leftist victim class, it’s always somebody else’s fault. Whatever happened to personal responsibility? Young people are not only being told this repeatedly, but many, especially in the inner cities, are taught to fear, disrespect, or even hate the police.

Radical leftists, given all the airtime they want by their compliant media, and even some Democrat members of Congress, are constantly harping about defunding the police or even abolishing the police. This has become cultural in the inner cities, and it is contagious, as a culture often is. Those leftists who foment this problem with police have blood on their hands. Until this is stopped and corrected -- re-imagining behavior, if you will -- we will continue to have police shootings.

Police have an incredibly dangerous job that, sadly, is becoming less and less respected. Perhaps not so by most Americans but by the radical leftists and their in-your-face press. A politician suggested this week that police should not even have weapons when pulling over a car.

I agree. Just about all of these shootings were people that resisted. Or had warrants and resisted.

It is part of a larger problem where young men in particular are learning at younger and younger ages that they have no future. Look at the levels of drug abuse, medicating, shootings - too many people with nothing to live for.

Whatever hope was offered by Trump’s “America First” agenda has been wiped out with Zho Bai-Dan’s theft of the 2020 election; we’re back to ChiComs first...

Everyone of these "black hero" deaths has been a convicted criminal. Why the heck are people supporting the bad guys is beyond me.

And I'm talking about the Dem party, people like Obama and Mayor Lovely Warren of Rochester NY.

I support the Police 100%. Are they perfect?? No...but I sure don't want to see our local forces cut in any way.

And sending a counselor instead of the police. How stupid is that. YOU volunteer.

Africa is Africa because of Africans.
Europe is Europe because of Europeans.

Good luck fixing a genetically lower IQ and impulse control issue.

Agreed. Any young person that paid attention knows the election was stolen. They see America going down. They already have nothing and no family home. Was forced to stay at home in likely a bad environment. Imagine living in bad conditions and then forced to stay there like a jail cell.’

As Robert Heinlein said: “An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life.”

When people act in an uncivil manner around the police, they sometimes get shot.

The thoughts I have had about the conversation of “reimagining policeing” or “defund the police” or whatever is en vogue at the moment, have always been what is the communities responsibility.
Even if people don’t like to hear it, there are reasons why certain communities have higher interactions with police, so what are they going to do to help drive those interactions down?
And no, not calling a crime a crime, or not prosecuting a crime doesnt help anyone, it just feeds the activity and breeds more contempt.

Daniel Prude death in Rochester NY. Protests were destructive.

Many teens/young adults working in the McJob economy (theaters, restaurants, etc.) were idled by this lockdown, and are learning some harsh realities.

When we were told over the past few years that many Americans believed the country’s best days were behind her, the enemedia would try to spin that into a solely racial reaction, but it was much more economic than anything else - many simply don’t believe they can provide for a family over several decades, so they won’t have families. The trafficking of foreign “replacement Americans” is the effect, not the cause - and that trafficking suppresses wages and destroys opportunities for American citizens.

Trump’s attempt to reverse this dynamic was the primary reason he had to be removed by any means necessary; it wasn’t because he insulted some has-been fat pig of a celebrity.

Overwhelming to me, it seems to be that certain demographic that insist the side of the road is the place to argue the traffic stop, arrest, etc. If you don’t agree with the ticket just sign it, or do whatever is required by law in your state and take it to court to contest it with your evidence. Same goes for an arrest comply with instructions go to jail and if you disagree I think it was done wrong present your evidence in court.

Why the heck are people supporting the bad guys is beyond me.

I suggest the reason is this: Our country is in the midst of a communist revolution. The republican, free-market system is the enemy--it's a meritocracy, inherently white, and favors smart people (like Asians). The current system must be overthrown and replaced by one that promises equality of outcome for all (i.e., communism).

Hence, the "bad guys" are freedom fighters (though that isn't how they are described...yet).

Let’s be honest, if blacks want to decrease their contact with the police, all they have to do is decrease the amount of crime they commit. Black males between 16 and 36, which make up about 3 percent of the population, commit over half the violent crime, murder, rape, armed robbery, and aggravated assault. The biggest predictor of how much crime a city or town has is how many blacks live there. Blacks call 911 more than any other group.

If you “re-imagine” policing without changing the pattern of criminal conduct all you are going to get is more criminal conduct. We’ve already seen that in Minneapolis and every other city that has decreased police activity.

When more emphasis is placed on how one feels about oneself, a great deal of power is handed to everyone around you. They can disrupt the self-centered universe, causing internal conflict.

Couple that with an encouraged violent attitude, where bravado substitutes for strength, and you have a strong recipe for societal gunpowder.

I think he could have refrained from a few posts on Twitter although I enjoyed him taking shots at people that took shots at him. But for some it wasn’t presidential. I liked his attitude of demanding respect and it made other countries respect us. But a majority of the people liked what he did. Stimulate the economy and bring in jobs. Jobs of all kinds. People were working and making a life, no matter your color. Trade was being fair instead of other countries getting the better end of the deal. Pulling out of things costing us money and is getting nothing out of it. Common sense things was turning this country around. The dems saw that and knew what they had to do. Their plan started the day he took office. Releasing a virus on the world that destroyed a economy that was doing better than ever. Change the election rules (illegally) and steal the election and use the media and social media to keep it silent. Now we are disrespected and they want us dependent on the government while they take our rights. If they were to succeed in disarming the good American people there is no telling what will end up happening.

The last one I saw with the military guy that would not pull over and then set up his phone to record while he refused to comply with commands made me sick. That guy was lucky he wasn’t accidentally fired on.

Yep. While there are incidents where police do incredibly stupid and grossly negligent things - like showing up to serve a warrant at the wrong house and shooting absolutely innocent people - those incidents are reasonably rare.

Instead, just about all of these incidents are exactly as you describe: Things going sideways when people decide to resist arrest.

If the country doesn't repent and return to God it will rapidly self-destruct.

We can't cancel Religion, Freedom, Sovereignty, Family, Law Enforcement, and Education, and expect any other result.
