I debunked the interpretation of that mangled quote when it first became an issue many months ago.
The document link in this comment is not the original document it was in.
I did not save the original document, so I cannot provide the exact quote.
From memory...
The CDC was talking about COVID test samples to verify the accuracy and sensitivity of the then-controversial PCR tests.
What was not "available" were COVID test samples that held a precisely measured number of viruses per volume.
Interesting article, maybe that would explain the absence of the annual influenza epidemic..........
“ The scale of such a conspiracy is far beyond what I consider credible.
Yeah, that would require:
...Donald J. Trump
Rand Paul
Ted Cruz
The Republicans
...and virtually every other political leader, medical research facility and pharmaceutical company on Earth.
Not so much.
Trump fought against it.
Paul is on the front lines.
Let’s distinguish between the virus, which is real, and the response of fear, lockdowns, control, subversion of rights, and destruction of business.
I should have added Big tech earlier.
When my wife started working at a nursing home almost ten years ago, she brought home cold and the flu constantly and we were sick a lot for 4-5 years and then it suddenly stopped and we haven’t been sick once in the past 4 years or so. I guess we’re immune to all cold and flu strains because we had them all. Covid has allegedly been through that nursing home twice. I don’t wear a mask. She gets kisses and hugs from me everyday.
How is it that she brought home every cold and flu for 4-5 years but hasn’t brought home this highly contagious covid in the past year or that my non mask wearing arse hasn’t either?
Just the flubro.
We don’t scrub or sanitize anyything. Aside from her wearing a cheap ineffective mask at work, our lives haven’t changed one bit.
Two residents died but they were bad off to begin with and likely would have died had they gotten -— the flu.
Two of her co-workers tested positive and were sent home for 14 days. They described their symptoms as being pretty much like -— the flu.
We live in a recreational area and many thousands flock here every weekend, mostly from St Louis and they don’t wear masks while here. They shop at our stores and eat at our restaurants which are open for business. We magically haven’t had an outbreak.
Kids have been back at school for months, mask free, not social distancing. No outbreak.
Compare that to lockdown MI with a gazillion cases and tell me how that works.
The four research papers describing the genome extracts of the Covid-19 virus never managed to isolate and purify the samples. All four papers describe only small pieces of RNA that are only 37 to 40 base pairs long. That is NOT a VIRUS. A viral genome normally has 30,000 to 40,000 base pairs"
Now I'm no expert on genome sequencing. Please provide the source for corona virus being sequenced every day. To seem knowledgeable on this subject; do you know if the 30-40,000 base pairs part is true?
HEY! This needs to be taken down, in accordance with Twitter rule... Oh wait! Not another anti-vaxer doc! That spreads fear porn and disrespects those here who clearly know better than the rest. I am appalled!
“Let’s distinguish between the virus, which is real, and the response”
The premise of this article is that the virus is not real - everyone is in a giant conspiracy to pretend it exists. (Laboratories In US Can’t Find Covid-19)
That is what is beyond credibility.
For that to be true, Trump and Paul would have to be in on the conspiracy - they say it is real.
“30-40,000 base pairs”
Sounds about right for a little virus. (which by the way, is kind of a trivial task for the machines that sequence genomes).
That is the whole virus however. Whole coronaviruses make very (very) unsafe vaccines.
They have to snip out just the minimum characteristically identifying amount (epitopes - small features the immune system can recognize) to allow the immune system to learn to recognize the target. On the surface of the virus is a particular spike protein, that it uses to attach and get into our cells. At the tip of the spike, is a little piece, that is like the key, that fits into our locks. That little snippet is what is mainly used for the vaccines.
“Please provide the source for corona virus being sequenced every day.”
That is what must be done, to identify one variant from another. The whole variant monitoring program is genomic surveillance of samples, through sequencing (mapping) those samples.
Here is an article from CBS News today (17 April), on the big increase in funding to support this effort in the USA: Biden administration invests $1.7 billion to fight COVID-19 variants https://www.cbsnews.com/news/biden-administration-invests-1-7-billion-to-fight-covid-variants/
“White House officials unveiled a strategy that features three components: a major funding boost for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state health departments to ramp up coronavirus gene-mapping; the creation of six “centers of excellence” partnerships with universities to conduct research and develop technologies for gene-based surveillance of pathogens, and building a data system to better share and analyze information on emerging disease threats”
“we need to massively scale up our genomic surveillance,” said Esther Krofah, who directs the Faster Cures initiative of the Milken Institute. “It’s the insurance program that you need to have in place not just now, not just for COVID, but going forward for other pathogens of concern.”
Genomic sequencing essentially involves mapping the DNA of an organism, the key to its unique features. It’s done by high-tech machines that can cost from several hundred thousand dollars to $1 million or more. Technicians trained to run the machines and the necessary computing capacity add to costs.
Another hurdle is getting local, state and federal labs all working together. “There are lots of cats that need to be herded,” said University of Wisconsin virologist Thomas Friedrich.
At the end of last year, the CDC and collaborating labs were completing only 116 coronavirus gene sequences a week, according to the CDC’s website. “We started in a hole,” said Slavitt.
The White House says the weekly count is now about 29,000, but experts say in a large, diverse country like the U.S. those numbers need to be much higher to keep pace with potential changes to the virus.”
So COVID is sequenced about 29,000 times a week (just by those orgs in the Government programs), in just the USA alone - and the funds are now identified to ramp that way up.
Many other Countries have similar aggressive genomic surveillance programs running. They also need to have this capability as part of their national defense. So with the USA currently running around 4,000 a day, it has got to be being sequenced at least 5-10 thousand times per day, worldwide (probably more).
“I guess we’re immune to all cold and flu strains because we had them all.”
“How is it that she brought home every cold and flu for 4-5 years but hasn’t brought home this highly contagious covid in the past year”
One prevailing theory as to why so many cases of COVID are asymptomatic, is that those people already have a degree of cross-immunity from exposure to other related coronaviruses. About half of common cold infections are varieties of coronaviruses.
Beware of the Branch Covidians 😂
Not nearly as dangerous as the Branch Clintonians....
Who knew that Covid cured:
The flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, asthma, and the common cold.
Hope you get well soon🤗
“Branch Covidians”
Excellent. That’s a keeper.
“ For that to be true, Trump and Paul would have to be in on the conspiracy - they say it is real.
Real virus
Hoax is the fear used to promote it and capture the world.
re: “The theory of an Electric Universe answers many questions that standard theory does not.”
I’ll spot you more than that; You have no theory of dark matter, nor does ANY of contemporary physics making use of Standard Quantum Mechanics!
Both ‘camps’ are in the dark!!
And, of course, BOTH think they are correct. Both would be WRONG on that point.
I leave it to the student to figure out the correct course ...
Thanks BeauBo. Answered exactly what I asked, with no snark. ‘preciate it.
I stole it! Bwaaahahaha
works for me:
