I did sign on. I’m the most reluctant, and I signed on.
It was hard because I’m faced with a search bar. Didn’t know who to plug in, so I used Ghost Ezra “channel”. (Kiddies must follow Ezra. The comments are adolescent.)
It was there Ezra’s the best posts were referring to Whiplash 347, so I put his name in the search bar. I “joined” his “channel” and can’t stay away. Exhausting.
Like the old days, here. LOL!
I’m even more reluctant than you probably; I’ve never joined a social media platform, except for FR, of course.
Telegram is the most awkward of the new crop to view on the PC, but it seems, as with so many others, you need to also have a smartphone in order to sign up (and, I presume, have a better viewing experience). That counts me out. Getting so tired of being told that media is supposedly “too big” to view, and comments that are invisible (the new gimmick that they use to reel people in - “sign in to read 3,582 comments!”).
Twit and Fartbook may be run by sociopaths, but at least you can navigate them easily (and see the comments) without signing up... these other new platforms should all buy a clue. sigh
