I don’t think the dnc has the horsepower to get statehood done as I recall one vote has 60 required in the senate.There was a few other issues as well.
IIRC it requires 2/3 senate vote for the DC state hood swamp wish to take place and even with RINOs like Murk and Pierre Delecto, China Mitch isn’t going there as he heads to jail. I know dreaming about him and his wife going to jail but they are as dirty consigliere Pelosi and her insider dealing family.
Isn’t there a little thing known as an “Application for Statehood” transmitted by the local governing authority?
And prior to that, a petition and referendum of the residents and voters of the district requesting an application be made?
Is that included in the House decision?
