plage noun

\ ˈpläzh \ Definition of plage

1: the beach of a seaside resort

2: a bright region on the sun caused by the light emitted by clouds of calcium or hydrogen and often associated with a sunspot

Yeah, I know, I know.
I should flox and flail twice a day, but I figger that the assistant removes all that ugly plage every time I go see the dentist. Twice a year.

La plage is ‘the beach’ in French. Pronunciation symbols are odd, like ‘zh’ really sounds more like ‘jz’ (as in Raj) but I guess as in Dr. Zhivago ‘zh’ makes sense. Plazh.

Does Gitmo have a nice plage?
With inmates all in a cage
The guards might use it
And in the sand sit
And in a book turn a page.
