Herd immunity is theoretical. How long does it last? COVID-19 mutates therefore herd immunity gets destroyed. There appears to be evidence of this happening in Manaus, Brazil when it reached herd immunity after getting hit by the original strain in the first wave. Should be good to go. Wrong. The Brazilian variant hit them hard in the second wave.
