Cuckold
A cuckold is the husband of an adulterous wife; the wife of an adulterous husband is a cuckquean. In biology, a cuckold is a male which unwittingly invests parental effort in juveniles who are not genetically his offspring.

More precisely, a cuckold (or “cuck”) is a man who has invested his attention and assets into a woman who has so little respect for him that she has no interest in being faithful.
The corresponding status on the female side is a woman who grants sexual access to men who have no interest in commitment, in a futile effort to get love and attention. Sometimes referred to as a “slut”.
If that’s the definition, then he isn’t one.
