She had every reason to think he was going back to the car for a weapon, and her (male) partner was unable to restrain him physically. She was perfectly justified in the use of a taser.
absolutely. she was maybe even justified in use of a firearm. My quibble is with the word accidentally. She did not accidentally fire she meant to. She may have meant to do it with a different weapon but the act itself was intentional not an accident. She was mistaken about which weapon she had drawn and no doubt did not intend to kill him but she meant to fire a weapon
