I’ve still got some Boston Butt roasts and spare ribs left that I bought last year on sale. Got them when I saw empty shelves in Italy. Also bought a small chest freezer because we’d been wanting one for a while. Also bought 36 mega rolls of TP, other meats, frozen veggies, canned goods and garden seeds. Six weeks later, all that stuff was unavailable, including freezers and seeds were outlawed in MI for some insane reason. The sheeple, as you say, were the people walking around the stores looking at empty shelves while I walked down the aisles in the opposite direction of the arrows on the floor. Probably kind of mean but I couldn’t keep from smiling while they all went baa, baa, baa, there’s no food. The sheeple are the ones wearing masks as the government and msm tells them to.
Bought some meat goats with the first round of stimulus. They fornicated and now we have a buckling that can go in the freezer soon and a doeling that will make more kids. Wanting a pair of small pigs soon too. Kunekune breed. Got a hen I don’t feed who gives us an egg pretty much everyday.
Started shopping for a small car shortly after Jan 6th and got a 30mpg Focus a while ago. The sheeple will wait until gas is $4.00/gal even in the cheaper gas cost States. Then they’ll pay out the wazoo for a good used one.
I could probably double my money on this property now and double my money on the car in a few months but I think I’ll just keep them.
If anyone has any sort of land they can garden on or raise meat on, now would be the time. Actually when obama became president or when it was realized he and most of the dem party are marxists/socialists/communists would have been the time to start.
Right, notice no one has said one shouldn’t stock up.
I got ‘caught’ early on with no paper towels as I basically stock up when running low.
When I do get the towels, about every 3rd trip I will replenish my TP.... so it naturally creates a ‘stockpile’ and I did change habit on towels and chances are good I won’t run out again.
Whenever I hit the dollar store I do ‘stock up’ on noodles etc and the other 6 or so pack stuff for a dollar.
Isn’t all that bad and it doesn’t ‘go bad’..
