On Monday, New York Yankees outfielder Aaron Hicks became the face of what so many other Black Americans were feeling.
Distraught at the news that yet another Black man, this time Daunte Wright, had been killed by police in a Minneapolis suburb, Hicks approached manager Aaron Boone and begged out of the night's lineup, when the Yankees were set to face the Toronto Blue Jays.
Thankfully, Boone supported Hicks, and defended him against those who inevitably would and did question Hicks' decision, telling reporters that "my consideration is with Aaron and his well-being, and making sure that as best we can we support him and try to be there for him as best we can right now."

They would cull “top news” stories to frame things in the Democrat perspective and down throttle news that was not beneficial to their worldview.
I don’t recall if it was a newspaper or search website that had even embedded anti-Republican comments in the HTML tags for news photos (like “idiot” or “brainwashed”).
Just like Mr. Hicks, I have Negro fatigue too.
Hicks 2020 average was .225 with 6 homers in the Covid-shortened season, and his 2019 average was .235. with 12 homers in an injury-shortened season.
Aaron Hicks OPS is .476. Get rid of him

Hicks was .18 points below the league average both years.
Color me unimpresssed although he was consistent I’ll give him that.
My batting average sucks cuz I’m black! You watch them trade me just cuz I play in a sport where I can’t hit the ball.
He should try having to hear all the whining and victimization.

You really need to be more understanding. Can’t you imagine how exhausting it must be to CONSTANTLY be searching, IN VAIN, for actual racist acts directed at you. And then, never finding them, IN DESPERATION having to resort to setting up a HOAX racist display to report. It has to be EXHAUSTING! ;-)
