Real sugar is fine.

No it is not.
Locally, the shelves are FULL of Coke and Coke products while you can’t even buy the small bottles of Pepsi and almost all of it is sold out.
Boycott working...
I'm through with Coke - but that said, if they went back to the original formula - the one that used sugar and coca leaves they could raise prices and still make money. I buy Mexican Coke - real coke produced in Mexico with sugar rather then chemicals - it costs about double what US coke costs... and WAS wort it. I wouldn't touch either now...
Good move......healthy, too.
While a lot of store brands are relabeled name brands, Sam’s and most other generic sodas are produced by a company named Refresco.
“... going woke may be the single biggest branding mistake in the history of marketing.”
Maybe not, The biggest mistake was M & M’s not allowing their product to be seen on Close Encounters of the Third Kind. (It was used in the book) Reece’s made a killing.

It’s orders of magnitude worse than New Coke!
Sam’s cola actually tastes better than either coke or pepsi we found out.
I haven’t seen it in years.
No, it isn’t. True. but it’s still not as terrible as that corn syrup. There is a definite correlation between the skyrocketing rate of child obesity and the use of that rancid corn syrup.
that i totally agree with. I stopped HFCS about 10 years ago.
“I see PepsiCo joined in on the Zoom call of “Concerned” CEOs too.”
I need to search to find the entire list. We are at a point where we are considering dumping Verizon Wireless. If it’s on the list, the decision would be easier.
We just dumped AT&T/DirecTV. When we shipped back the equipment, a detailed letter was taped to big Genie.
I find it up around the NC/SC border mostly but Lowe’s Foods offers RC in Columbia SC.

“Minute Maid OJ is about the only one that I care about,”
Instead of Minute Maid we tried Walmart’s Great Value OJ, and it’s very good! It’s all pulp-free, though, and I prefer pulp. Still ... not giving money to Coke.
I know Walmart has its issues, as do many corporations. But we need to adopt Alinsky’s Rule 11: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual.”
Everyone get on board with Coke as the target, and don’t bother diluting the effort hitting other corporations. Focus on Coke. Find every negative detail about the top dog(s) at Coke, and advertise it in any way possible.
Oh yeah......publicity......remember New Coke?
Backfired bigtime.
I’ll see your Andrews Sisters for Coke and raise you -

I always go with half sweet and half unsweet ice tea or just water. Sometimes real sugar Dr. Pepper if the spirit moves me and that’s not often. No Coke and no Pepsi. That’s the ticket.
