Funny, I don’t remember deflation ever resulting in lower prices for every day items like food. I only remember box and can sizes being adjusted down with pricing remaining the same.

Exactly.
When fuel prices go down, grocery prices, drugs and prices of everything else should go down. But they never do. What’s up with this?

Perhaps price controls should be enacted.
But it’s the fault of congress for accepting bribes from lobbyists.
