The problem is, because I’m seeing it, the kids don’t want the family farm anymore. They sell the farm to a developer. The developer has already bribed the county commission/ city council and the zoning board. Because all anyone sees is dollar signs.
All the local government folks see is increased tax revenue for their pet projects and get paid at the same time.
Then all the businesses you mention start to pop up along with lousy traffic.

Yeah, we live in an extremely materialistic society. We worship the wrong things. Its probably going to be a big factor in our undoing, which is obviously already in progress. the Big Fail is happening quickly.
Happened in my little town. A huge drug rehab center is being built here for the elite. It won't help local businesses because we have none, as well as no police protection.
We know who the new leftists are. They installed solar panels which will fry our birds. After a few years they'll remove those panels because they don't work up here.
