Some DO’s are excellent physicians and some are quacks - just like some MD’s. My money’s on this particular DO being way off base.
Not all DOs are quacks, and the institution that "Dr." Tenpenny attended seems to be legitimate and accredited.
I have seen enough quacks to know that a fair number of them have real degrees that qualify them to be medical practitioners or researchers. I do not know why they turn to quackery, but I suspect that they do so because they were very incompetent in their fields. How many quacks are subject to malpractice lawsuits for promoting hooey?
You’re right. D.O.’s aren’t “quacks”. Some of the finest surgeons and anesthesiologist’s I’ve worked with are Osteopathic Doctors.
