In regards to Bitcoin, is that a good thing or a kiss of death that Bloomberg predicts such growth?

Chances are they won’t. Not being a negative-nelly, but coins built on the Eth network are too specialized—and most of them are really “tokens.” Often times, tokens are destroyed when they are “used.”

Bitcoin is on a completely different “network” and not associated with any type of digital contracts, or underlying “function.”

So while they are two similar “things” they provide two completely different functions to the crypto world.

I am not trying to pooh-pooh the alt coins. I bought my first Etherium when it was $4. At the time I thought I was late to the party. Ha Ha.

Interesting links, thanks for sharing.

On the other hand, if you think my "one-hour meltdown theory" is not all that ridiculous...

Not ridiculous at all, but I'm more optimistic in some of the specifics... actually, very optimistic, about the opportunity and goodness it presents.

We get unshackled from the boot of the world's central banks, london Banksters, who have been stealing America's wealth for over a century. And, we resume, after a long hiatus, of putting in place NESARA, a precious-metals-backed currency. It was slated for implementation in 1963 and 2001.

Maybe third time will be the charm.

I respect that opinion. So. Are there any minor crypto currencies that might or could blow up in value like Bitcoin?

Or just hope this article is true and BTC hits $400,000?

When the MSM is pushing it, it means some institutional trader wants out.

I am not sure. There are so many of them since I gave up my quest for the Holy Grail in alt-coins.

I always tell people who ask, just look at the top five assets at any given time, and spread the love.

I’m waiting for my Game Strop moment. I’ll make a cool million or so, then get out.

And yes. I know. Crypto Currencies CANNOT be manipulated that way. If they could - the US and China would have already taken over Crypto Currencies.

Bitcoin reminds me of my 401(k) plan.

It's nice to see all those commas in the numbers but I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that when I actually need to start withdrawing it starting about 10 years from now, the value will still be there.

Yep. I don’t have much, but hey it’s a start. I read an article about venezuela that mentioned a family being able to buy one month’s of groceries for 1 oz of silver. It’s how they survived the hyperinflation. Doubtful we’ll get that much out of it, but better than hyperinflated worthless fiat currency.

Exactly. The smart insiders know about future plans of governments and central banks and put out these stupid fluffer stories to sell into before those plans hit and the bottom drops out.

Bitcoins et al are too rich for my blood now. Seeing how huge bankers and corporations are buying them up as fast as they can I don’t see it as something “the little” guy can use anymore. They will buy with billions from “stimulus” packages, hold the value in their bitcoins, watch the economy crash around them, then still get bail outs from tax payers and use the bit coins to shuffle around between themselves.

i have only invested in a few things that have a 100% succes rate. Education, machinery, and raw metals. Real estate... The county used ED to get my land. Rentals, luckily I sold before Kung Flu and have watched several rantiers lose everything with eviction and rent moratoriums. Gold... Silver. Those have done nothing. The only truly valuable thing I have is education and experience. Anything else can be stolen.

Little of life has a 100% success rate - nor marriage, not health, etc.

A 60-80% success rate is a good thing.

And as far as bitcoin goes, you can invest any amount from $50 up and you will get some piece of a bitcoin.

I write that because some people think they need to shell out $59,000 for a whole bitcoin.

It is divided to the 8th decimal place.

IRS is zoning in on Bitcoin profits like a bird dog in a chicken pen.

They gonna get theirs. Just a matter of time.
