That's a good question, one of the few on this thread. Should there be a US varient I suspect our media will dub it the "Trump variant."
Why is there no Polish variant? Or French variant? or Italian variant? Actually, I’m sure there are but they haven’t gained mutations that make them newsworthy. America is the melting pot however. Maybe P.1 and B117will find eash other in a US airport or something and then-BAM! some lucky American will get PB117. B117 is now the most common variant in America btw so it’s possible.
