Just take your dog’s heartworm pill at the first sign of illness. 😉
Most people who researched it know it is in one of the heartworm medicines for dogs and it is a general de-wormer, but I haven't heard of anyone taking the dog version. Some people have taken the horse brand, but a reduced amount according to weight of the person.
I prefer to get the pill manufactured for people.
