Lefty shot a solid -3 but even a repeat tomorrow only cracks Top Ten.

Augusta Nat’l is playing tough today. Should be interesting.

My sentimental favorite is Jordan Spieth, but he still hasn't regained control of his tee-shot. Let's see if he can gain back his bogeys today.

That article was published in 2016, just before Spieth's collapse with his quadruple bogey on the 12th hole. I think that was the beginning of his loss of confidence that only returned this year.
He just double-bogeyed the 7th hole. I hope he can bounce back. He has to start hitting more fairways.

This is really depressing. No drama. No Tiger. No Mickelson. Guess i’m just getting old but this generation of golfers offer no excitement.

"No Mickelson."Dude, he was the Featured Group earlier, and shot a sublime -3. It was the low score on the day I think even still now.
Go here and you can watch every shot of the round.

Looks like we’re going to lose maybe an hour of play, not much more.

Not one of these millennial punks stood up and said a word when the powers that be in professional golf moved the future major from Trump International.
No longer worth a minute of my time.

"Not one of these millennial punks stood up and said a word when the powers that be in professional golf moved the future major from Trump International."Really? Because The Masters is at Augusta National, not Trump International.
Further, "woke" is still an in-joke at Augusta National, where this year they managed to dig up Lee "Pokey Putt" Elder for the ceremonial first shot, who didn't even make the cut in 1975 and didn't actually make a first shot.
So basically humiliated the old dude, who is in a wheelchair on oxygen, apparently the burden of his second wife.

DeChambeau is the most interesting, but he doesn’t do well without his analytical tools that are forbidden at the Masters. And he’s still too inconsistent. He, Nicklaus, and Woods are the only ones to win the NCAA, Amateur, and an Open.
To: StAnDeliver
Watching but tuned in late...just in time for weather horn. I had to look up Zalatoris. Glad that he is young and an American.
DeChambeau is disappointing this year, so is Rahm—only foreign player I root for.

I think Spieth’s mother jinxed him. He came in second instead of first and I heard her say, “That was a $600,000 mistake.” It was but she shouldn’t have said it.

"DeChambeau is the most interesting"No doubt, but he was going off the rails before the horn. His last tee shot before the suspension was a Bubba-style overwound-spring hard slice that pulled his back heel off the ground as he muttered, "That is so far into Narnia...""

DeChambeau is fun to watch. He bulked up massively during the COVID-19 break, and he hasn't gotten control of his newfound strength yet. He's like a slugger who keeps swinging for the bleachers - lot's of foul balls mixed in with the homers.
