Maybe it’s true. I’d say that Tom Gresham qualifies as an insider. If he says Wayne was spending dues monies on suits and private air travel, I’m inclined to believe him. Those monies are not, by NRA by-laws, meant to do anything but service membership. Anyone that has money to throw at NRA-ILA is free to do so. but I don’t know why they would until NRA cleans house

Fine - but that's NOT the point. The NRA is NOT the only gun owners' group out there, but new gun owners MAY NOT KNOW that! Point them somewhere you think will help (some other group or even an elected official you think is worth supporting).

The lack of anything but "Wayne & the NRA suck" from some people (on thread after thread after thread) makes me think they're absolute experts at b!tchin' & moanin' - but maybe have a lot less experience supporting pro-gun groups/elected officials (& even voting)...
