Saturn-3 was so laughably bad that it was impossible to take the robot seriously. It was so bad and disjointed that I thought it was Italian.
You did get to see Farah Fawcett in all her anorexic glory.
I saw Saturn 3 when I was too young to realize it was a bad movie and was genuinely frightened by Hector. Actually the most memorable scene for me didn’t involve Hector...it was when the bad guy opened the air lock which swooped the other guy into the wire grid and chopped him to pieces. That visual has stuck with me for decades:
