I just think people need to be very aware of their health before getting the shot and weigh out all the genuine risk factors: like high blood pressure, being on birth control (which raises clotting risks), etc...

Yes the debate is being framed as though one is either “anti-vax,” or vaccines are a point of religion-level doctrine. It’s really unfortunate. Because there’s a lot of nuance in between. As there is with all Covid-related debates. (Mask vs. no mask. etc...Lockdown vs. None.)
IIRC, the UK reported 79 instances of blood clotting out of 20 Million doses administered yet the anti-vaxxers are going wild.
What about with the Anthrax vaccine?
Although many Dr are not against this vaccine, the most I have talked to said that this thing could have, and will be able, to be handled well if the illness is addressed at the first signs of infection.
