Doctors don’t seem to want to help old people. My mom’s doctor dropped her because she wanted a second opinion. In some ways she’s lucky. One sister’s husband passed away and she came to live with Mom. The other sister divorced hers and parked a big camper in Mom’s yard and she lives in that. I’m an hour away so that helps me a lot. I have an 82 year old husband that can’t remember if he ate lunch so I stick close to home. Mom is only 5 years older than my husband so it would push me to be both places if needed. Both of my brothers live in the same town as Mom too. Doctors have given up on her.
I think the problem may be where and how many of them are educated. Many of these institutions are hardcore liberal. Who knows how many subscribe to the “Gates theory” of half a billion people in the world and the rest can just die.
