A million miles is Nothing when we talk about distances in space.
The sun is approximately 92 million miles from earth just to show some comparison.
Oh don’t worry because this telescope when ever it gets to it’s destination in space will not make any difference at all.
A star is still going to look a dot.
Just a bigger dot, that’s all.

The Webb will be sitting at L2. That’s a big deal. There is no fixing it. It must work or else. Not like the Hubble that had fixes and routine maintenance

Have you seen any pictures from the Hubble Telescope ?? This telescope is technically light years ahead of the Hubble telescope so a dot in the sky would definitely not be the same
