Phillip Adams, a former NFL cornerback who played six seasons in the league with six different teams, has reportedly been identified as the gunman who killed five people in South Carolina, including a prominent doctor, before turning the gun on himself.

The shooting took place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. A source close to the investigation confirmed Adams’ identity to The Associated Press on Thursday. Adams’ parents lived near Rock Hill and the football player had been treated by the doctor at one point, the person told The AP.

None of us can figure out why,' Faris said.

Maybe we don't know the spark but we surely know what caused the fire.

Could be. I read old article suffered 2 concussions within 3 consecutive games in 2010 or 2012.

Concussions a major concern in
football of course. Junior Seau of
New England Patriots killed himself.

ABC News:”The night before his death, Seau sent a text message to his ex-wife and children in which he simply wrote, “I love you.” They were the last words anyone would hear from him. More than 30 NFL players have in recent years been diagnosed with CTE, a condition once known as “punch drunk” because it affected boxers who had taken multiple blows to the head. Last year, some 4,000 retired players filed lawsuits against the league over its alleged failure to protect players from brain injuries.”

But I wonder why this “mass murder” (by a person in their favored nations/race/sex/gender groups) does not fit the ABCNNBCBS narrative? /sarchasm

(totally ignorant about football)

Is cornerback a "dangerous" position, i.e. .. takes the most hits and roughing ?

Why haven’t the MSM attributed yesterday’s series of murders to “White Supremacy?”

If they did, it would be a blatant and obvious lie. So? All the other accusations of mass murder and violence that are blamed on Trump and his supporters were lies. Why should this be any different? Because something is changing. Somewhere back there one straw too many broke a camel’s back, and the hint of accountability is hanging in the air.

Was it the MLB boycott against the legal and constitutionally sound election law passed in Georgia? Could be! Now, laws protecting election integrity, and the 2nd Amendment need to be passed by a plurality if not majority of the states. Perhaps we can slow down or stop Biden’s insane slide into the Abyss.

I remember Junior Seau. That was a few years ago, when I watched TV more often than I do now. He was the consummate people-person, fun, charismatic and likable.
Similar to that other Pacific Islander; The Rock.
It was a shock learning about Junior’s episodes of deep depression. On camera, you saw zero signs of it.
