Apparently math escapes you, the effect of the vaccines compound on top of a 2% death rate actually 1.8% per John’s Hopkins university for all ages going to upwards of 10% for elderly with 2 or more comorbidities. The Pfizer has been proven via peer reviewed science to prevent 98.2% of deaths thats ON TOP of not instead of. So for the average american it takes a 1.8% chance and removes 98.2% of that so it lowers the avg CFR to 0.0324% on a real document level not some internet message board pull numbers out the backsides.

Pfizer Is what I got in Jan/ feb. VIKING cancelled my Paris River cruise in June and I am relieved. I was struggling with having to show negative and or vaccinated in the Paris airport. VIKING has plans for on board testing but I will not rebook..
I think that, for some, percentages, math and statistics are apparently hard. For the following extract from your linked report:
“Israel’s Health Ministry announced results of a study in the country that showed that the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine was 98.9% effective at preventing COVID-19 deaths. In the study it was 99.2% effective in preventing serious disease...”
Perhaps they’ll understand better using actual numbers. For example- “for every 1,000 deaths that would occur in an unvaccinated population, the vaccine will prevent 989 of those deaths and for every 1,000 serious COVID-19 illnesses that would occur in an unvaccinated population, the vaccine will prevent 992 of those serious illnesses.”
Of course, for those who are simply being deliberately obtuse, nothing will help them overcome that obtuseness.
