I used to watch horse races but won’t any more. Remember wonderful Barbaro? Broke his leg on the track. His owners tried very hard to keep him alive, but the leg didn’t heal. Had to put him down. My old boss had race horses. Big scandal: guys were caught electrocuting them in the field if they were not winners. I literally quit a very good job over that. Horses are wonderful to ride and enjoy and love, but not to murder.
