Ok all...now that the NFL, MLB and NBA have became TOTALLY "woke" what is everyone's new "GO TO" sport?
Hanging on to golf right now.
That looks like a lot of “owies” just waiting to happen. They must be quite rugged.
Even the NHL is flirting with the get woke / go broke mentality. For me its Premier League Soccer.
I can’t get into soccer with the empty stands. It’s not the same without the singing and chanting fans.
I watched a live match while on vacation in Wales in 2008. Great game, though I can’t remember who played. They were local teams, and not the Welsh national team.
Australian Rules Football is pretty good. I prefer Rugby Sevens (starting up in May). It’s very close to American Football, very easy to pick up.
Awww, so sad. I didn’t know about that.
Premier League Soccer, and F1 plus motocross racing in Europe. I think the Europeans, after initially embracing the “woke” culture in the aftermath of Thug Floyd’s death, have gone back to enjoying sports as sports, and not events to articulate their views on political and social issues.
I especially enjoy the later stages of The Champions League.
Probably best to get outside and do something and not depend on others to entertain you. Gardening, hiking, biking, sightseeing America, etc.
I have enjoyed watching strongman competitions, urban axe throwing, and bean bag (AKA cornhole) matches. In a month or so the local collegiate baseball league will be playing and I can walk a few blocks to a pleasant little ballpark and treat myself to inexpensive tickets and beer, or catch the games on Facebook Live. It isn’t like watching the pros, but these guys aren’t making millions of dollars either.
I used to watch it on Sunday Mornings with the LA T-Birds.
DOGE, GME & AMC. Following these is more exciting than watching sports. Unless of course it’s women’s beach volleyball...
Ax tossing or cornhole? or maybe a nap.
If it has Pro attached to its name, it’s not worth watching.
Target shooting
Spend the money on a fireworks party for your family and neighbors. You can buy some good stuff with the amount you’d spend on an taking a family of 4 to an NBA or NFL game especially when you also add in parking l, and 4 drinks and a hot dog for each. You’ll have a better time and more than just 4 can enjoy your show. In doing you’d also be buying from a conservative retailer/wholesaler that loves our country.
Yep...I’ve had more beer spilled on me at roller derby games than at any of the other live sporting events I’ve attended.
