Meanwhile, Hump-her and The Big Guy laugh all the way to the Bank of China and the vaults of the Ukraine...
They gotta keep up the lefty narrative that Trump is a cheat and a swindler in the event he makes a 2024 run.
.
End of discussion.
There is actually some truth in that article.
The redwin site was indeed a little deceptive and annoying. I had a $10 donation repeat on me, when I didn’t intend it to.
And you had to click through a bunch of screens trying to get you to double your donation, and sign up for recurring donations. It was confusing.
I don’t have any regrets for donating to Trump, regardless of how he uses the money. He fought for us. He did a heck of a job.
But I don’t like winred’s tactics.
It was heavy handed, but I don’t think it was designed by Trump.
And when I went to donate to the Georgia candidates, if you read the fine print, 1/3 of it was going to McConnell. But it allowed you to change it, which I did.
They got two unapproved $50 donations from me before I got it stopped. It wasn’t proper. I don’t blame Trump.
He lives rent-free in their heads.
I am still not sure what was “wrong” about “money bombs.”
Was it that the default was to send weekly or monthly?
Dems were hauling in illegal foreign cash through ActBlue the entire time.
“It is legal”
If it is legal, STFU.
The cheaters accusing Trump of cheating?
It’s winred. They suck. I gave money to Pres Trump and of course the first time I did I was unaware of the pre-checked box because I didn’t look. My fault btw. So...when I got the email confirmation for a ‘repeat’ contribution, I contacted them immediately and had it canceled. They didn’t get any extra money but it wasn’t not for the lack of trying.
Next time read the fine print. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Trump did.
What a pantload. Winred sucks, but it is tied to the RNC, not to Trump. I’d never give a dime to the RNC, but once I donated to Trump (the only candidate I’ve ever supported with money), I immediately began to get deluged with begging spam and junk mail from the RNC. Much was very deceptive, leaving the RNC off the return address, using Trump’s name over and over, and putting RNC info only at the bottom of the last page. I think I remember reading that Trump sent them a cease and desist order for this practice, which they ignored.
Oh and Trump did not “lose”, he was massively defrauded of his rightful win.
Again, what a pantload of an article!
The Guardian makes The People’s Daily look tame by comparison.
Sorry, but WinRed does suck. (As does ActBlue.) You can’t convince me that having one, sometimes two, boxes pre-checked that you have to unselect if you want to avoid making it a recurring* donation
is anything but scummy behavior. (*And sometimes WEEKLY at that.) And they did a lot of misleading tricks with text too.
That doesn’t mean Trump was personally aware of of any of this. But it’s bad behavior designed to fool people and it deserves condemnation even if the money went to a decent cause.
I did/do not like WinRed, and would like to see President Trump drop them.
I’ll contribute to President Trump and MAGA/America First supporters, but I WILL NOT contribute through WinRed!
Fact Check False
Funny, I never gave a dime unwillingly or unknowingly...
