Yep, seltzer is good too...more interesting than plain water but still avoids the sugar.
I’ve considered a soda maker. Wonder what the cost per gallon is on those.
Fruit is bad for anyone with diabetes and it’s bad for children (loads of sugar).
I’m looking for an alternative to diet coke and I’m sorry to see PowerAde on there because it has a no sugar version. Oh well.
I drink OJ with calcium, and have tried most brands. My favorite is Great Value from Walmart.

From what I’ve heard from diabetics, the body recognizes sweeteners in diet drinks as sugar. Not sure if it’s true.
We even got our kid to drink seltzer when she was little! Now my one grandson does not like anything carbonated at all, and the littler one is too young for soda still.

I looked it up earlier too and was relieved to see that Dr Pepper is not a Coca Cola product
I just foundout that athe Dr epper ownership company is indeed a “woke corporation” that supports stealing elections. So I guess Dr peepper is back on the do not buy list. I tried RC cola but it just didnt work so I will stick with A&W.
