"The Coca-Cola company is a multinational manufacturer...."

The two liter Dr Pepper with sugar are hit or miss around here. Much better luck finding them in Walmarts in the heavily Hispanic areas (which aren’t hard to find around here). But even there, you can’t count on it week-to-week so you need to stock up when you find it.
Pepsi is more regular in their distribution (12 pack cans only) but tends to be pricey (although a lot cheaper than Mexican Cokes). And occasionally it will disappear for a week or so, as well.
At one point Pepsi was selling sugar Mountain Dew, but it seems to have disappeared, as well as other sugar products from Pepsi other than the namesake beverage.
I don’t purchase any of those items :)
What I’ve been doing for a little change is put frozen berries and ice in my processor for chopping, and add it to some seltzer water for a nice, refreshing drink.
I thought Canada Dry was part of the Coke empire.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nope... part of the Keurig Dr. Pepper empire which also includes Royal Crown Cola and Snapple... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_Dry
” I don’t think anyone else in the broad market makes caffeinated root beer.”
I know, darnit!! I don’t know why the heck they don’t all caffeinate their root beer. I’m sorry to go off on a tangent, but...yes!!!! (pet peeve)
The artificial sweeteners are bad. Ask your doctor.
I’m
0 for 10.
I do have a few cans of Coke but they were purchased before the Be less White controversy.
I have read a number of articles in the past how the fake sugars mess up your system. Do a search, diabetes diet soda.
That sounds yummy! :)
I quit drinking all soft drinks a few years ago after I retired, now drink exclusively Crystal Lite, no sodium, no sugar and many flavors to choose from, currently drinking peach iced tea.
I consume NONE of them, so I’m already good. Woke-a-Cola can kiss my ass.
The most common type HFCS 55 is identical to table sugar.
Or Disani water?
Of course bottled water is one of the most amazing marketing successes of the last 50 years.
Pay for something you already get free (or pay for already) - lug it home in cases of plastic bottles, then feel like some kind of environmental hero when you recycle the bottles (when they probably go to the landfill)
For the last 20 years my only use for Coke was as mix in the occasional Cuba Libre. Now, that’s over and I’ll have a Mojito instead, although I still support the liberation of Cuba and I really did enjoy raising my voice and shouting out ‘Cuba Libre!’ in little Havana bars. The response was priceless.
“eat fruit and drink water” you’re the guy that says when you want french fries, just eat carrot sticks, you can’t tell the difference!
sometimes it is ok to eat bad food.
You Coke™ drinkers will not last a week drinking Pepsi™.....
Lol. Trump giving up Diet Coke. Highly unlikely. Trust me I know. It’s nof easy. I won’t do it and trump may try but will fail.
Fruit is full of natural sugars that are horrible for people. Why are you recommending killing people?
My wife, a short time ago, pointed out that Coke owned and sold DASANI® Water.
It is all ways on sale, mostly in huge 36 bottle cases.
So now we don’t get hernias lifting their cases into a cart.
My doctor told me to eat golf ball size pieces of fruit during the day. She told me that apples are the best. I follow my doctor’s advice and I have lost over 35 pounds in the last 5 years. You can go ahead and eat whatever you want. What you eat is none of my business, as long as you are not costing me any money. Leave me alone!
