The only way that these “sports” organizations will change is if enough folks boycott their events. When those high paid athletes and owners don’t get their millions of dollar yearly payouts, I’m sure they will find the zippers on their mouths.

Agreed. His sequence went something like this.

1) What a clown! I’ll never vote for this guy. He’ll never get elected!
2) He won? By how much? Well, let’s see what he can get done with this congress.
3) Fairly impressive and his tweets are good grist for my radio program.
4) He’s really getting the wall built! And the economy is going great guns! This guy knows how to get things done!
5) He’s gonna get reelected!
6) Biden won? How? (Whew!)
7) Uhh. There was not election fraud. The election was clean.
8) Trump is a buffoon and a terrible president.

A fair weather friend indeed...

My interest started waning 10 to 20 years ago. Not due to politics but saturation in my mind of sports in general. The political stuff just made the waning faster. I’m now at the stage of not caring about this. I wouldn’t have watched the MLB All Star game if none of this had happened. I can hardly name any of the players anymore. I know the Dodgers won the World Series but that is about it. Even if sports were going great guns and everyone was happy I’d no longer be the fan I once was. I’ve moved on.
