By moving the Major League Baseball All-Star Game from Atlanta, where it was scheduled to be played this summer, MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has, in the opinion of many Republicans, declared the league an arm of the Democratic Party and baseball itself to be a blue sport, with values opposed to the Constitution and representative government.

It’s amazing how many of these upper echelon Corporate’s are duped by lies and the Woke Orwellian agendas. By this Manfred Doh-head moving the All Star game out of Atlanta who does that ‘hurt’ as a consequence?
The small local businesses, hotels... etc. It also hurts Delta Airlines selling less tickets and Coca-Cola selling less drinks but those two Woke companies are just collateral damage. All MLB wins is applause from celebrity Woketards. Say goodbye to more departing paying fans MLB.

I consider myself a visionary, I gave up on the Sports 30 over 30 years ago when the decline of decency and morality first reared it’s ugly head in sports.
It will be interesting to see what fan reaction to all of this is.
What exactly is Rob Manfred’s objection to the Georgia law? The voter ID provision? Voter ID is supported by over 70% of people,according to a recent poll.
Just in general, it puzzles me as to why we see so many situations in which major organizations, in this case baseball, bend over backwards to prove that they are liberal.
And in the case of voter ID in the Georgia law , the liberal view of things as clearly a fringe position.
Moving the All-Star Game to protest things ends up hurting Georgia businesses. How many black-owned businesses in the Atlanta area would have profited from the All-Star game being there?
You’re right. Let’s talk about Atlanta. It’s not in Inner City Atlanta. The stadium is in Cobb County. Now who are the fans? Probably 80% White. I bet 70% of them voted for Trump. The Woke crowd in Atlanta supports the NBA team, the Hawks.

Pro Sports want whoever is going to open China markets in power - they can get new fans from China, (many times the number of US fans,) and get marketing merchandise made by slave labor.

Hugh Hewitt made on mistake in his column. Manfred is no longer the Commissioner of Baseball, he is the Commisar of Baseball.
I watch the NY Rangers. I’ll watch the Triple Crown and final rounds of the majors. That’s it.
Add American Airlines, Dell, and Microsoft to that list for lashing out at similiar legislation in Texas without even reading it.

To hear gay activists from the 70s and 80s tell it, that would not have been an inappropriate gesture among the gay nightclub scene.
I even recall reports in the 1990s of some San Francisco public ceremony with Pelosi or someone that included a “prayer/incantation” from Satanists and that the government figure (Pelosi?) left before a sex positive couple put on a show with “public showers” on one another.
