Back when America was still America (before Obama was born) some filthy used car salesman sold me a 1956 Morris Oxford. Had to stop one time but brake pedal went to floor. Pulled emergency brake which was a foot long shaft mounted vertically on floor. Came off in my hand. Opened door and dragged foot to stop car.
