Like in all the movies when the supernatural bad guy/gal shows up (witches, vampires, Randal Flagg, etc) flies, bats, crows, snakes, or frogs come boppin' outta the woodwork.
So forgive me if I don't associate FROGS with Easter. Cute little bunnies are for the good guys.
(yes, I know I'm approaching Jocko territory here).
I wonder what the strongly religious think about this? Or is my overactive imagination running amok (again)?
Remember. Their symbols will be their downfall?
[They] like to sneak up on us with stuff like this, hey?
You’re not in Jocko territory on this one, bags.
I bet most Evangelicals would back you up on this one.
Revelation 16:13 “And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.”
No Easter frogs (or bunnies, either) for me, thanks. It’s about Jesus, so the only appropriate animal would be a lamb, because He is the sacrificial Lamb of God: perfect, spotless, without blemish (i.e. sin).
frogs in Bible are plagues or judgment
not a good thing
