Now, depending on where you live, there can be an additional differential. But, the GS-15 noted above is a big deal. That's equivalent to a Colonel (O-6). Real responsibility. Real expertise. You don't just walk into a job like that.

GS-15 type managers (I’ve known them) aren’t likely to ‘watch kids’. This is an executive-manager type person (usually with a masters-degree).

I would make a guess here that they are hiring up hundreds of people, and the bulk of them are making in the $60k a year range as actual kid-managers, and for every ten of them...some team manager who is making around $80k. Then at each town...a GS-15 type to manage 500 kid-managers over all.

I will predict a disaster in the making, with people mostly unqualified for the work, and some of them either assaulted or dead by the hands of the pretender-kids (the ones who are gang-related and in their early 20s).
