I am confused, why should the police have access to the ‘black box’ did they get a warrant ?
Was there evidence that a crime was committed to get that warrant, or were they just fishing ?

I think it was a “program car” essentially a loaner to celebs like Tiger for promotional purposes. Hence the side of the car emblazoned with the name of the manufacturer.
