Alleged DOJ Extortionist David McGee Responds To Rep. Matt Gaetz
Populist Press ^ | 03/31/2021

Posted on 03/31/2021 9:33:16 AM PDT by SeekAndFind

Congressman Matt Gaetz claimed that, as part of an FBI sting, his father was supposed to contact this former DOJ employee on Wednesday to arrange a downpayment of $4.5 million on the $25 million extortion. The U.S. Attorney’s Offices for Northern and Central Florida declined to comment.

“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that tonight somehow The New York Times is leaking this information, smearing me and ruining the investigation that would likely result in a one of the former colleagues of the current DOJ being brought to justice,” Gaetz said.

Gaetz told Fox that the former DOJ employee going after him was David McGee, now a lawyer at Beggs & Lane. In an interview with The Daily Beast late Tuesday night, McGee said any reports of extortion involving him or his firm were “completely, totally false.”

“This is a blatant attempt to distract from the fact that Matt Gaetz is apparently about to be indicted for sex trafficking underage girls,” McGee said.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R) on Fox News just accused David McGee, former DOJ official now with the Florida law firm Beggs & Lane, of attempting to extort him. McGee did not immediately responded to requests for comment via email/phone

Before the Fox interview Tuesday night, Gaetz used his Twitter to call on the Justice Department to “immediately release the tapes, made at their direction, which implicate their former colleague in crimes against me based on false allegations.”

When asked how long, and in what ways, he had been cooperating with the feds, the MAGA congressman simply texted The Daily Beast on Tuesday night, “March 16 first extortion text was sent.” He did not immediately reply to follow-up messages seeking clarification.

Andrea Clark, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida, provided no further clarity. “We don’t confirm or deny the existence of any ongoing investigation. We can’t make any kind of comment,” she said.

The supposed DOJ official extorting Matt Gaetz was David McGee, a career guy in DOJ who served as a 1st AUSA. Not someone in a position to extort. He says, “This is a blatant attempt to distract from the fact that Gaetz is apparently about to indicted for sex trafficking girls.”

That guy looks like a total skeev. And he's already a lawyer.

Lock him up.

The facts of such sexual accusation scandals tend to reveal themselves quite quickly.

Its financial and political crime that political and deep-state types can drag-out or bury forever

I wonder if this slime ball lawyer is in someway connected with the former boss of a dead intern known as Joe Mika-Scarborough or Joey’s pals at the lincoln project?

Good luck to you, Matt.
You’re a good explainer for GOP issues. I hope you politically survive this purging attempt.

The guy was setting up Dad for his old employer.

They always use intermediaries.

Peter Strzok didn’t hand Papadopolous $10,000, but he does act shocked when he finds it in the luggage at the airport when the target deplaned.

Papadopolous didn’t bring the money home, thwarting them, btw.

They get us individually, and we too often acquiesce.

Understanding this is the Deep State and it’s happening everywhere, we should feel emboldened and overwhelm them in return.

This is the Deep State that we need to fight.

Any patriot that's a threat to the derp state, they will seek to destroy.

Trump, Palin, Nunez, Jordan, Green, and now Goetz.

We have their playbook.

RE: Do we believe the New York Times and a former DoJ guy,

Let’s look at their records:

1) What was the NY Times’s stance during the Brett Kavanaugh hearing?

2) What did the FBI ( under the DOJ ) do with the Christopher Steele dossier that started the whole “Russia Collusion” hoax?

3) Did the DOJ do anything with the laptop of Hunter Biden?

Just three of the MANY of their records.

If it’s a false allegation, the blackmailer and the blackmailed know it’s not worth 10 cents.

And the threat of disclosure has zero weight.

Whether he diddled a little girl is not directly related to the supposed sting operation. And they may be both pursued.

There’s more to this story.

Age of consent in DC is 16 while in Florida it is 18. If he had dinner with her in DC and slept with her in Florida, he is guilty of a crime. And, if he had dinner with her in Florida and slept with her in DC, he is guilty of being a stud. Further, if he slept with her in Florida, violation of age of consent laws are a state offense in which the Feds have no jurisdiction. Why was the DOJ investigating such an insignificant case other than to embarrass him politically?

Often, the person making an accusation is guilty of the very crime they’re asserting.
