I am willing to bet the DA has established a revolving door or no bar at all for non-white criminals like in so many blue cities.
The problem is that they’ll start farming out the ferals to surrounding areas if they can’t get developers and businesses to financially support the city; that is what happened with Newark NJ. When they watched the wealth go to other places (including some nearby), they simply started sending their ferals out to new megamultifamily constructions being built in those places to attach those gibsmedats to taxpaying hosts (and the services they’ll fund). In deals with the Devil, those surrounding areas build those ghettos so their school systems don’t close due to lack of customers.
