The rape scene of the maid in Death Wish II was particularly disturbing Even today...His daughter's fate is equally disturbing. While I liked the original film, I thought the sequel was just rape/violence porn. There is a point where a movie is too nasty to be entertaining (IMO). I did not see any of the remaining sequels. I felt the same ways about Chato's Land, also directed by Michael Winner.
