Update on the Fox News Post-Steal/Post-Arizona ratings collapse.
Here are the current Fox News ratings losses since The Steal according to Nielsen as of Wednesday 3/24:
Breem -61%
Cavuto -58%
Ingraham -58%
Hannity -56%
MacCallum -55%
Fox News Primetime 7pm -55%
Baier -54%
Carlson -51%
Outnumbered -50%
Smith/Roberts -48%
Perino/Hemmer -48%
Fox and Friends -47%
Faulkner -44%
The Five -41%
I have different(better) reasons. There’s nothing for them to talk about these days. They’re doing nothing but whining about what Biden’s doing. It takes 2 minutes of Carlson/Hannity to know they have nothing to talk about other than what we all expected Biden to do.
What should they do? Perhaps put it out there more that we came close to winning everything. Then go on to tell us more what we can and should do starting with the state legislatures where there were questions. Where’s the positive news? Democrats have everything and they’re still miserable as always. I for one need a break from them just as the rats want.
I still watch Tucker Carlson. I DVR his Show daily.
I get more out of his Commentary than I do anywhere else and I learn things I’ve never heard before.
I also like that he has Mark Steyn on pretty frequently.
On weekends I watch Levin and Watters depending on my mood.
Greg Gutfeld is starting a new Weeknight Show next Month.
I plan on tuning in to see if I like it.
I liked his Weekend Show better when he had a live audience. Another victim of the Kung Flu.
Just my $.02, your Mileage may vary.
They fired Lou Dobbs. Die FOX. DIE.
Lou would be a great hire for TrumpNewsNow....
I'm not mad. I like pointing out thieves and liars.
It makes me happy. Laws yes.
and not at Fox News for collaborating in The Steal and putting a pedophile dementia patient in the White House.
Well, they aren't posting anything here, are they?
They haven't started posting here with fake titles and
claims to be the author of stolen material, are they?
If so, please show me where.
Fox news ignored all of the criticism of their presidential debate fiasco with Chris Wallace and then doubled down on the Trump hating during their election coverage.
So now we can see who are the useful idiots that were on our side. They are the ones still watching any of those shows.
I think there is another way to look at the post.
The OP posted his analysis & linked to the article from whence he derived his data so people can confirm the reliability of the posted data. That is a perfectly legitimate form of FR post. It would be misleading to use the original title article since his analysis is the topic of the post.
Often you seem more interested in identifying something you can complain about than in actually reviewing the posts for useful or unique content content and the likely interest of FR members.
Hey! I left all the news behind, since the election, and haven’t looked back. Don’t miss it one bit. I get my news on FR and local news on my iPad and iPhone. Even on FR I scan the headlines and if it involves the MSM and Leftest view points I have nothing to due with anything with the poisoned thread. I will enjoy my last years in peace, hopefully, and not ruin my days fretting over things I cannot control. It’s just too upsetting for my mental state on a daily basis.
P.S. I would like to wish all of my FR friends a wonderful blessed Easter. Let’s us not fear the future since “I Am” said he would take care of us. God Bless each and everyone of you. My friends here at FR!
When you read material, do you not notice obvious flaws and mistakes and inaccuracies?
Most people do.
I watch some FOX night stuff, but none of their daytime crap - whatever loyalty I once felt I no longer feel.
But it wasn't just election night - it was a conscience decision on FOX's part to see how far they could push us before we left: Chris Wallace, Donna Brazile, one liberal bimbo newsreader after another... and "finally they were CNN" (without the good production values)...What fools.
If this keeps up, they may have to bring back Shemp to boost their li-beral ratings
“ American citizens feel betrayed by Fox News election night complicity with the outright theft of the election...”
Enough with ‘feel’
Please
American citizens were betrayed by Fox News election night complicity with the outright theft of the election
Yes but they are a distraction not the sum of my opinion of the article.
I weigh and consider how much they interfere with the points made, the information conveyed and realize with humility that we all make mistakes.
It’s like always doing 60% rather than half in shared jobs. The other person’s view of 1/2 way seldom coincides with mine. By doing a little extra & by them doing a little extra from their point of view, the job is finished without strife and a relationship continues.
Your job as the reader, is to assess the overall thrust and insight, the clarity of the hypothesis being developed not to grade on superfluous issues like a pedantic English teacher who has lost all connection with the purpose of writing and only perceives the form. The destruction of our educational system by the left has resulted in much poorer writing skills even amongst “professionals”. Errors abound and one must sift through to have any trust that a situation is accurately conveyed.
The OP made an accurate case for the drop in ratings and cited his data.
It’s great that 50% of Fox pre-Steal audience is still gone and hasn’t come back.
That means that Fox would need to double their ratings to get back where they were before the treachery.
And that’s not going to happen!
The opportunity is there for Trump.
He’s got the tv experience with his shows.
It’s a ready-made audience, and with streaming, fairly easy to get up and running.
High five! Looking forward to the coming Trump media platform. Somewhere (and something) that will give everyone MAGA an alternative to any and all of Big Tech’s tentacles.
The points I made were not about errors.
They were about theft and misattribution.
I suspect that by now, a significant year-over-year drop will show up, too.
