It was in a merge, so this probably meant just the lane left of the merge.

But no matter what, I hope you don’t get the urge to shoot somebody hogging the “real” left lane. Just take a deep breath, wait for your chance to go around them on the right...and enjoy your day.

My observations and I do just fine. Don’t tell me, tell it to all the “dreadlocks” and armed nutcases on I-95 that want to do 85 or higher. Not my job to enforce the speed limit against strangers. I have witnessed many instances of road rage on that road and there was almost always something that instigated it, usually someone way up in front on the left performing a running road block and more often than not with PA or OH plates. I ignore Waze and get off 95 at 795 for Myrtle to avoid having to go as far as Lumberton. 795 and 40 are far less crowded and a much more enjoyable drive. I’m not excusing the road rage, but if you want to mitigate becoming a “random” road rage victim these days, best to stay out of the left lane except to pass and then pass quickly when someone runs up on your behind.
