So this guy I work with had said a month ago he was not planning on getting the vax until June or so until he saw how others reacted to it. Today he said that he was scheduled to take his second dose of one of the 2-dose vaxes next week. He is excited to get it so he can get his donuts from the Krispy Kreme that is down the street from him.

If I had to guess, he weighs about 375.

I wish I could have retired this thread series, but talk of all these new, horrible variants is heating up. Merkle wanted to impose another lockdown in Germany, but I guess she was beaten back a bit on this by the public protests there.

I wish people here would hold big pubic protests. I hate that we are being shown up by the German people on this.

In Italy, supposedly very Catholic Italy, strict lockdowns in some provinces will mean people cannot go to Easter mass.

I really can’t say that I am surprised. It is, after, all a conspiracy whether some of you want to acknowledge it or not.

It should NEVER have been shutting down "non-essential" businesses.

It SHOULD have been quarantine the sick, protect the vulnerable, and everyone else live as normal and go to work.

This COVID crap has been a godsend to the leftist wet dream of wiping out small businesses (conservatives) and make people dependent on government handouts, and to launch the greatest wealth transfer from the middle class to the rich and ruling class.

I looked at the curves. The sharp curve, and the “flat” curve. Both had the same volume! So both represented the same number of hospitalizations! So flattening the curve didn’t cut down on hospitalizations.
