I’ve heard that dogs can be trained to sniff out cancer, and they certainly provide comfort when getting treatment but....CURING....? I’m gonna go with no.

I've read that cats too an detect various types of illnesses in their human masters. But unlike dogs who will indeed provide comfort and companionship, they don't give a crap one way or the other. That is, as long as someone/anyone fills their food dish every day. (joking...sort of)
