A Girl Scout troop leader is accused of stealing about $12,500 in money from cookie sales and event fees.
The Ohio Attorney General’s Office said Gauthier deposited the cookie money into personal bank accounts for about five years. Parents alerted authorities, which prompted an investigation by the attorney general’s office and the Pataskala Police Department.

I never buy Girl Scout Cookies.
For aA $5 box, the troop gets 75 cents, or 15% and 25 cents, or 5%goes to the regional organization, and is called a service unit.
Instead I ask how much for 4 boxes and just give them $20 for no cookies. They get to keep all of it.
I do the same for the Boy Scouts when they come by selling their popcorn.
I have not bought one cookie since I learned they donate to abortions!
