I’ve heard an “AR-15 style” firearm. Not sure what that means. It’s like saying a “sedan-style” vehicle. Well is it a sedan (AR-15)? If it differs from a sedan (AR-15), how does it differ?

After all, the AR stands for Assault Rifle!
