OK, this is kind of weird for here because heavy rain has never triggered our emergency warning system test before but here is what I got earlier. Keep in mind I’m in the hills of TN and 2 or 3 inches of rain this time of year is normal. We usually get it on our weather radio, not our phones.
“THIS IS A TEST ONLY! Due to bad weather starting to come into the area tomorrow, we are testing the Notification System”.
We are supposed to get heavy rain and thunderstorms but no mention of tornadoes or anything. Sun is shining right now. Maybe I’m just hoping for a miracle of some other kind too much.

Kennedy’s point was that the same applies to drunk driving. Instituting draconian regulations or outright bans on driving would not stop the criminally minded from driving while drunk, given as drunk drivers don’t care for the law in the first place.
