I have a good friend and former co-worker (who moved away); she is in her early 80s now, and still works. She keeps saying this year will be her last, but then can’t seem to give it up. She could afford to retire, but she just enjoys the music work so much - same as me. Obviously she’s as healthy as a horse. Anyway, she has only ever had one vaccine in her entire life - she told me which it was, but I can’t remember if she said smallpox or polio. She says her mother was an anti-vaxxer before it was a thing - hahaha!
I got the smallpox and polio vax but that’s two diseases that are vax worthy. They’d kill you in a hurry. People are over vaccinated now. COVID will never be in the same class as those two. I never took the flu vax until I had it so bad in 2008 that I thought I would die. Since then I have been getting it and haven’t had the flu again.
